The Time Guy

This clock is not named after bread.

It had a bit of a hard life before coming to me, presenting with a bunch of timing weights on the balance, heavily filed balance screws, gaining 10 minutes a day, and the cause of it all, the roller installed incorrectly on the staff, rubbing on the lever.

So after fixing the obvious problem, I had to undo all the damage to the balance as best I could.

I got used to seeing it in my shop during its one week test run, and I'm going to miss it.
