This is a traditional tune that I've written out to share with this month's "third Thursday" banjo workshop group at CGS Music. I heard it first on a David Holt recording (I think it might have been his first record.) He does it with brave simplicity and I've tried to capture that. I don't think this tune is very well known. I play it in double C, but as is traditional when being nice to fiddlers, he tuned up to D.
